techniques of Kung Fu must be harmonious with elegant yet effective in their application.
To achieve this the Masters of Kung Fu in time have developed different methods and training strategies. Including these six reports:
Six "rules" to follow when practicing:
3 External Relations
1. union of hand and foot
2. combination of elbow and knee
3. combination of shoulder and hip
3 Internal Relations
4. union of technique and thought
5. the same mind and Ch'i
6. Ch'i and strength of union
In particular the first three reports are "external" in the sense that dealing with the correct postural alignment, both in stationary and moving positions.
The 3 internal relations are a bit 'more complex to understand and explain (with the risk to give the impression that the concepts of "mystical" when in fact they are practical concepts).
Here too
not describe why these concepts to understand the operation of certain mechanisms, both internal and external, is needed practice in the gym.
In the practice of Tai Chi Chuan you have (or at least trying!) to abide by these reports, so be aware of your body in space for costriure the right frame.
A capacity necessary to improve the practice of Kung Fu.
