Xing yi quan, the outermost of the internal martial arts.
The name of the style kung fu xing yi quan (also written as hsing i chuan) is translated as a form of boxing and mind.
The foundations of xing yi are given by 5 elements: water, earth, fire, metal, wood. For each of these elements is associated with one of the 5 basic punches style.

The foundations of Xing yi yi xing
The style is simple: there are five basic techniques inspired by traditional Chinese five elements: earth, water, fire, metal, wood.
In each of these techniques are enclosed with the principles and characteristics of 'element. On the surface seem very simple gesture, really encompasses any technique of the "subtleties" that can be acquired only with much practice.
Pi chuan: a technique inspired by the metal.
Zuang chuan: a technique inspired by water.
Peng Chuan: technical spirit to the wood.
Pao chuan: Technical ispiarata fire.
Heng Chuan: A technique based on the land.

Then there are the techniques and forms inspired by animals, in the style that I've practiced there were 12 animals. Other styles have less.Fighting promised, that is of the "fights" where the two training partners use the sequence of attack / defense set. Finally, several

In our course we do not do tai chi course xing yi quan style but if you're interested you can visit us.In Turin (to my knowledge there are no courses xing yi), but our course is aimed at young people who want to practice an internal martial art.
